Marion City Council Committees Meet Tuesday

Marion City HallFour Marion City Council Committees will meet on Tuesday, September 18, to discuss various subjects, including a new liquor permit, the 2012 solid waste management plan, and a possible annexation into the City.

Finance Committee meets at 6:30 pm to discuss grant proposals to the Ohio Department of Transportation for federal funding. Several fund transfers will also be discussed.

Legislation, Codes, and Regulations Committee will meet at 6:40 pm to discuss an application for a new liquor permit for Debra Baker (DBA Carryout Store) at 335 North Greenwood Street.

Municipal Services, Parks, and Recreation Committee meets at 6:50 pm to continue discussion on the 2012 DKMM Solid Waste Management Plan.

Zoning and Annexation Committee meets at 7:00 pm to discuss a proposed annexation to the City of Marion.

City Council Committees meet on the second floor of Marion City Hall and all meetings are open to the public.
