Marion County Auditor Joan Kasotis reports that the second phase of the 2013 state-mandated property revaluation has begun. All parcels in Marion County have already been visited to look for discrepancies from the current property record cards. Workers in the field are now out in their vehicles reviewing information collected from the first visit and verifying for accuracy.
The entire county will be rechecked in this manner. These workers are now in Big Island, Bowling Green, Green Camp, and Montgomery Townships.
All personnel will have identification and a sign in their cars.
