The Marion Police Department says officers served a search warrant on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at 2552 Capaldi Drive in Marion. During the execution of the warrant, officers say they located thousands of pictures of young, nude females. Many of these pictures are believed to involve area juveniles.
As a result of this investigation, 53-year-old Richard L. Hale, of the Capaldi Drive address, was arrested and charged by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office with two counts of Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, a felony of the second degree. Many more charges are expected in the case.
The investigation continues and officials say attempts are being made to identify other potential victims in this case.
