This year the River Valley Agricultural Education program received a student teacher, . She attended Bellevue Senior High School and is currently a senior at The Ohio State University. Her major is Agriscience Education and her minor is Production Agriculture.
Steinmetz says her interest in becoming an Agricultural Education Teacher is due to her experiences in her high school agriculture program. She received her State and American Degrees as a dedicated member of the Bellevue FFA Chapter.
Steinmetz has been teaching students about agricultural sales, soils, food science, and public speaking. She will be with the River Valley FFA Chapter until November 9th. She attended the Marion County Fair and FFA camp with the River Valley FFA Chapter.
