Marion Drive-Thru Robbed at Gunpoint

The Marion Police Department says a local drive-thru was robbed at gun-point on Saturday, December 22, 2012. Police received a 911 call from Woody’s Place, 566 Delaware Avenue, at 7:00pm reporting an armed robbery that had just taken place.

Witnesses told police that a suspect had entered the business, brandished a compact, semi-automatic handgun, and demanded cash. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’10” tall, medium build, wearing a winter jacket, jeans, and dark shoes, He was wearing a mask over his face.
