City Council Meeting to be followed by State of the City Address

Marion Mayor Scott Schertzer will present his State of the City address following the regular City Council meeting on Monday, January 28, 2013. The Council meeting begins at 7:30pm and has just one item on the agenda.

Council will discuss applying to the Marion County Commissioners for the City’s portion of the Automobile License Tax. The City must formally request the funds and include what projects the money will go towards.

The State of the City address will take place immediately following the City Council meeting.

Marion City Council meets on the second floor of City Hall and all meetings are open to the public.
