“Journey Together” Dinner Concert will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 to raise funds for the Marion Shelter Program. The non-profit agency assisted around 600 children, women, and men who were lacking housing during 2012. The program has had to deal with cuts to their funding at the same time they have been seeing an increase in need.
The Marion Shelter Program is the primary provider of emergency shelter care for Marion County as well as the surrounding counties.
The concert at The Marion Christian Center starts at 6:00pm and features Kerrie Roberts along with local talent Nucleus. The church is located at 1550 Richland Road in Marion. In addition to the music, there will be food catered by Special Occasions.
