Marion General Hospital’s Forensic Nurse Team Offers Program for Girls

Marion General HospitalThe Forensic Nurse Team at Marion General Hospital is offering a free program, called Transitions, to enable girls and the women in their lives to share information. Offered from 7:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, the nurses will discuss healthy relationships, puberty, and technology.

The program, which will be presented age appropriately, has been designed to provide girls and women with information that will be helpful in keeping them safe and able to enjoy all of the stages that children pass through before reaching adulthood. Organizers say you can help the girls in your life get the right information by joining them at this program.

Recommended age range is 12 to 15 years of age. The free program will be held in the Union Room on the ground floor of the hospital.

For more information, or to register, please contact Darlene Schoonard, Forensic Nurse Team Coordinator, at (740) 383.8677 or email [email protected]. Seating is limited.
