Tpr. Aaron M. Williams was promoted to the rank of sergeant this week by Colonel John Born, Patrol superintendent, during a ceremony at the Patrol’s Academy. Sgt. Williams will transfer from his current assignment at the Marion Post to serve as an assistant post commander at the Ashland Post.
Sgt. Williams began his Patrol career in September 2003 as a member of the 141st Academy Class. He earned his commission in March the following year and was assigned to the Bucyrus Post. In 2007, he transferred to his most recent assignment at the Marion Post.
He resides in Marion with his wife, Julie.
