Marion City Council will hold committee meetings on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Items on the agenda include pension pick-up plans for fire and police personnel, resurfacing of State Route 309, and the rezoning of two lots on North State Street.
Finance Committee meets at 6:30pm and will discuss restated resolutions of the pension pick-up plan for fire and police personnel and an additional appropriation in the Municipal Court Assistance Fund.
Streets and Sewers Committee meets at 6:45pm and will discuss pavement repairs and resurfacing of State Route 309.
Zoning and Annexation Committee meets at 6:50pm and will discuss a request to rezone 443 North State Street from an R-3 Multi-Family District to an C-1B, Neighborhood Shopping District. The committee will also discuss an amendment to the planning and zoning code.
City Council Committees meet on the second floor of City Hall and all meetings are open to the public.
