The Marion Police Department says a man has died from injuries received when he was assaulted at a local bar on St. Patrick’s Day. They are hoping witnesses will come forward to provide more information into the incident.
Investigators say the assault took place at the Town House Bar, 199 Davids Street in Marion, on March 17, 2013. The victim, 64-year-old Timothy Daso of Marion, was attacked in the parking lot of the bar between the hours of 9:00pm and 11:00 pm.
Police are asking anyone who may have been at the bar during those times, or has any information regarding this case, to contact them immediately.
