The Marion County Sheriff Office says a woman who they say was abducted on Saturday afternoon has been located and the woman’s estranged husband was found dead.
Investigators say Saretta Main, age 26 of Marion, was forced to enter a 2001 blue Dodge pickup following a heated argument with her estranged husband, Kalin Main Jr. The two were last seen in Prospect, Ohio at approximately 3:00pm on Saturday, March 23, 2013.
Investigators asked for the public’s help in locating the couple on Sunday afternoon after information led them to believe Saretta may be in danger.
Later on Sunday, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office reported that Saretta had returned safely to her family. Investigators say Kalin was found deceased as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
While they are continuing to investigate, officials say they would not be releasing any further information at this point.
