Crockpot Healthy Cooking Class at Grant Middle School

Marion City Schools Food Service is hosting a Crockpot Healthy Cooking Class at Grant Middle School on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the cafeteria. Parents, grandparents, caregivers, and anyone interested in leading a healthy lifestyle is welcome to come to this free event.

Executive Chef Brian Lewis will be demonstrating how to make a healthy meal in a crockpot along with other fun, healthy dishes. School aged kids can enjoy physical activity in the gym during the class.

At the end of the evening the first 75 households will get to take home a free crockpot along with recipes and good information about the importance of good nutrition and physical activity.
