Popcorn Festival Bringing Neil Diamond Tribute for Afternoon Show

Previously announced main stage entertainment includes the iconic group The Village People on Friday, September 6, and country artist Jo Dee Messina on Saturday, September 7.  Both will take the main stage at 8:30 p.m., and their performances are free of charge.

Festival organizers say McArthur has an uncanny resemblance to Neil Diamond in both looks and voice; which makes him a natural for his show – a Tribute to Neil Diamond.  He has performed his tribute show across the globe including, New York City, Branson, Las Vegas, Niagara Falls, Miami, Panama, and Montreal.

Attendees will hear unforgettable Neil Diamond songs like ‘Sweet Caroline”, “Song, Sung Blue”, “Love on the Rocks”, “America”, “September Morning”, “Cherry, Cherry”, and “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers” with Barbara Streisand impersonator Rodi Alexander.

The 2013 dates of the Marion Popcorn Festival are September 5, 6, and 7.  All performances on the Festival’s main stage begin at 8:30 p.m. and are free of charge.  A limited number of Kernel sponsorship seats are available for any of the main stage performances by calling 740-383-2076.
