The Meeker Sportsman Club will hold a fishing derby on Saturday, June 1, 2013. The derby is free and open to kids 12 years and under who must be accompanied by an adult. Fishing gear and bait is provided or you can bring your own.
Don’t worry about being new to fishing as plenty of help will be available for the inexperienced.
Registration is from 9:00am to 9:15am followed by a short orientation. Fishing ends at 11:30am and will be followed by a free lunch and door prizes.
The club is located at 1658 Agosta-Meeker Road North, Marion. Bait is being provided by A & J Bait of Marion.
