Did you need to earn a GED? Do you think you have the skills necessary to pass the test? If you answered yes, here is your opportunity to find out if you do. The Marion Technical College ABLE program will be offering an opportunity to take the Official GED Practice Test at no charge.
The testing will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at the Mount Gilead Public Library located at 41 East High Street in Mount Gilead.
Anyone interested in participating should call 740-389-4636 ext. 223 or 1-888-389-ABLE by Wednesday, May 8th to reserve a spot.
In 2014, a new form of the GED test will be introduced. At that time, testing will be done only by using the computer. The new form of the test will be more difficult and it will cost $120.00 instead of the current $40.00. Those needing a GED are encouraged to start preparing now!
