Peace Community United Church of Christ, located near Waldo, will distribute backpacks with school supplies on a first-come, first-served basis on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 9:00am to 10:00am. The giveaway will be held outside of River Valley’s Heritage Elementary School, 720 Columbus-Sandusky Road North (State Route 98).
Supplies are limited. Children do not need to be present; however, they do request that adults only take backpacks for those in their immediate families.
