Retirement Readiness Series to Discuss Budgeting, Money Management

moneyOn Thursday, August 22, 2013, the Marion County Council on Aging will host the third and final presentation of their three-part series:  Retirement Readiness:  Money Matters.  Bob Sanner, Assistant Vice-President with Fahey Bank, will give a presentation on budgeting and money management skills.

Often after retirement, the weekly or bi-weekly pay-check stops, and becomes just once a month. This can be a major adjustment, in terms of budgeting and bill-paying. Sanner will give practical suggestions for establishing and managing a good working household budget, as well as offer other suggestions for sound fiscal management.

Attendance is free, but because seating is limited, advance reservations are required.  The session starts at 1:30 pm and is expected to last approximately one hour, with ample time for questions.  The Council on Aging is located at 125 Executive Dr., Suite 102.

Call 740.387.0401 for reservations and further information.
