Peace Community United Church of Christ will hold their Annual Ice Cream Social on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The menu includes: Chicken, Ham and Hot Dog Sandwiches, Homemade Noodles, Baked Beans, Salads, Homemade Cakes and Pies and Riverside Homemade Ice Cream. Carryout is available.
Held rain or shine, seating will be available both inside and out. There will also be activities for kids.
A portion of the profits will go Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky, an assisted living/skilled nursing center of the United Church of Christ. Other local missions/church projects will receive gifts from the event.
Peace Community is located on State Route 98, 4 miles north of Waldo.
