Marion Palace Theatre Showing “The Way, Way Back”

The Marion Palace Theatre will show the comedy/coming-of-age film “The Way, Way Back” starring Liam James, Steve Carell and Sam Rockwell on September 20, 21, 22, 2013.

Fandango.com describes the movie. THE WAY, WAY BACK is the funny and poignant coming of age story of 14-year-old Duncan’s (Liam James) summer vacation with his mother, Pam (Toni Collette), her overbearing boyfriend, Trent (Steve Carell), and his daughter, Steph (Zoe Levin). Having a rough time fitting in, the introverted Duncan finds an unexpected friend in gregarious Owen (Sam Rockwell), manager of the Water Wizz water park. Through his funny, clandestine friendship with Owen, Duncan slowly opens up to and begins to finally find his place in the world – all during a summer he will never forget.

This film is rated PG-13 for thematic elements, language, some sexual content and brief drug material and runs 103 minutes.

“The Way, Way Back” will play at the Marion Palace Theatre Friday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $4/Adults, $3/Seniors (62 & over), $2/Children (12 and under).
