The Marion Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Tuesday evening. Officers responded to 191 Klerx Avenue at 7:49pm on October 22, 2013 after receiving a report of gunshots.
Witnesses told officers that multiple shots were fired. Investigators found that one round went through the front door of 191 Klerx Avenue, just missing an elderly resident before penetrating a wall towards the rear of the house.
Witnesses were unable to provide a description of the shooter. No injuries were reported and no other property damage was located.
