Medicare Open Enrollment, that one time of year when seniors can look at their current Medicare coverage, compare other plans, and make changes if needed, is happening now. On Tuesday, December 3, 2013, representatives from the Ohio Department of Insurance will be at the Marion County Council on Aging from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
They will be available to give one-on-one counseling to any senior currently on Medicare who might wish to compare other plans, and perhaps even make changes to their Medicare Part D prescription plan.
This is a free service but reservations are necessary. Call the Council on Aging at 740-387-0401 for further information and appointment times.
The 2013 Medicare Annual Coordinated Election Period (Open Enrollment) ends December 7.
