The Marion County Sheriff’s Office reports that they took advantage of the freezing temperatures on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 and utilized the Counter Assault Team’s training day to serve warrants. Officials say they were anticipating that some of the individuals wanted would be home due to the freezing temperatures.
Deputies of the Counter Assault Team attempted 44 warrants and arrested 10 suspects on 14 warrants. Those arrested included:
- Billy E. Davis, 1033 Isel Avenue, Marion, age 31, Four Warrants for Theft.
- James E. Davis, 1033 Isel Avenue, Marion, age 32, Warrant for Receiving Stolen Property
- Tommy Cantrell Jr., 255 Barks Rd W, Marion, age 33, Warrant for Failure to Appear
- James M. Davis, 465 Patterson Street, Marion, age 26, Two Warrants for Failure to Appear
- Logan M. Davis, 565 Davids Street, Marion, age 18, Warrant for Failure to Appear
- Heather L. Lower, 3068 Marion Waldo Rd Lot 21, Marion, age 23, Warrant for Possession of Heroin
- Shane M. Fair, 1177 Pinewood Dr., Marion, age 26, Warrant for Failure to Appear
- Dathan R. Davis, 1156 Eastfield Rd., Worthington, age 18, Warrant for Failure to Appear
- Mark W. Moore, 1170 E. Center St., Marion, age 25, Warrant for Failure to Appear
- Brent E. Baer, 742 N. State Street, Marion, age 45, Warrant for Theft
