The Marion Police Department says tracks in the snow helped them locate the man suspected of robbing a gas station early Friday morning. Officers responded at 3:03am on January 3, 2014 to the report of an armed robbery at the Certified gas station at 976 East Center Street.
Police say a lone gunman entered the store and made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Officers from the Marion Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office tracked the suspect in the snow to a house in the 800 block of East Adams Street.
Tyler Brady, 18, of 436 Barnhart Street, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Robbery and for an outstanding warrant for Domestic Violence.
Brady was transported to the Multi-County Correctional Center to await the filing of formal charges.
