OhioHealth Home Care has opened a new warehouse and full service branch office for OhioHealth Home Medical Equipment (HME) in Marion, Ohio that will serve patients in Marion, Morrow, Hardin, Crawford, Wyandot, and Knox counties. The HME branch office, located at 1125 Ellen Kay Drive, Suite A, in Marion, opened Monday, March 3, 2014.
The current satellite HME warehouse-only space in Marion was created in summer 2012 to have equipment more readily available to better serve the Marion area and to have a local service presence. The warehouse will move from its current location to the new full service branch office upon opening.
“This office will be a valuable addition to the existing home care services provided by both Marion General Hospital and Morrow County Hospital,” says Ken Szymanski, director of OhioHealth Home Care Home Medical Equipment. “With our increased focus on keeping people at home and decreasing the number of hospital readmissions, we are working together to make sure our patients have everything they need to maintain or improve their quality of life.”
Szymanski says OhioHealth Home Care offers patients a full array of home medical products to help improve quality of life and health at home, as well as helping patients to remain safely at home. This new HME office will provide order processing and delivery of HME products to patients and offer on-site administrative, sales, and technical support.
