The Marion Police Department is investigating the shooting of two males early Tuesday morning outside of a local bar. They are searching for a suspect that they call “armed and dangerous.”
At about 1:29am on Tuesday, March 5, 2014, officers responded to the parking lot of the Timeout Bar on Davids Street for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found two males with gunshot wounds.
Police say the injuries were not life threatening and the two victims were transported to Columbus area hospitals.
Investigators say the shooting suspect is described as a black male, early to mid 30’s, about 6’-6’2” tall, thin build, light goatee, wearing jeans with a white long-sleeve shirt with black lettering, and a black and white ball cap.
It was discovered during the investigation that the black male is known as “T” and is possibly from the Toledo area. It is believed that he has recently been staying in the Marion area. The suspect was accompanied by a white female. Police say they fled the scene in a white, older model 4 door car with West Virginia license plates.

UPDATE
At approximately 2:30pm on Tuesday, March 5, officers from the Marion Police Department and deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, acting on a tip, responded to a residence in the 500-block of East Church Street. Information was received that the shooting suspect from the incident at the Timeout Bar was present in the residence.
Police arrested William Lamarr Jackson, 32, from the Toledo area, at the residence on charges related to the shooting. Jackson was transported to the Multi-County Correctional Center pending arraignment on Felonious Assault charges. Additional charges may also be filed.
