United Church Homes Celebrates Expansion

UCH Ribbon CuttingThe Marion Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently participates with the staff of United Church Homes, Inc. at their newly renovated office expansion. United Church Homes, a Marion-based non-profit organization that provides healthcare and affordable housing services to seniors, recently renovated the third floor of 163 East Center Street.

With more than 5,000 square feet of space across the street from their longtime home, this extensive project included stripping the space down to expose the interior brick walls and now features an open, airy, modern office space with 18-foot ceilings. 20 employees from United Church Homes’ central office, consisting of mostly human resources and finance department personnel occupy this new space.

“United Church Homes is committed to the revitalization of downtown Marion,” said Rev. Kenneth V. Daniel, president and CEO, “and this project is part of a longer-range plan to be a good corporate citizen. We fulfill a critical mission in our work with seniors, and we’re poised to continue growing.”
