With only a week to go, the deadline for Marion Community Foundation’s 2014 Competitive Grants Program is fast approaching. Marion area non-profit organizations have until 5 p.m. on Friday, July 25, to apply for a portion of the $700,000 available.
This is the first year that the grant application has been made available online.
According to Marion Community Foundation president and CEO Dean Jacob, “We are available to help applicants with the new online program. We can provide technical support and instructions so that all applicants can make the deadline.”
MCF’s staff is available weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling 740-387-9704.
To access the online application, those interested should visit the Foundation’s website at www.marioncommunityfoundation.org and click on the grants tab.
