Friday evening will bring Christmas in July to Downtown Marion. Events will run from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, July 25, 2014 and will include a car show, 5k, kids’ activities, and the regular Downtown Market.
Here are some of the activities planned:
Shoe the Loop
- Dedication of Walking Loop 6:00 p.m.
- Fun Walk begins at 6:30 p.m.
- 5K begins at 7:00 p.m.
Shoot the Loop
- Car Show Registration is 4 – 6 p.m.
- Car Show 6 – 9 with shooting the loop at the end
Shop the Loop
- Downtown Marion Market 4 – 7 p.m.
- Downtown Marion Stores 4 – ??
Play in the Loop with Two Kids Areas
- Busby Park
- Face Painting, Glow Party, and more ending with a Balloon Launch at 9:00 p.m.
- behind Carroll’s Jewelers & Charleston Place next to Church Street
- Bounce House, Football Toss, & Games
- Rock the Loop
- Entertainment throughout the Loop via Hometown Talent
