The Marion Palace Theatre will bring the family-friendly animated movie, “Rio 2” to the big screen this weekend. Patrons will have five opportunities to see the film: Friday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, July 26 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 27 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Twentieth Century Fox provides the following film synopsis.
It’s a jungle out there for Blu, Jewel and their three kids after they’re hurtled Rio de Janeiro to the wilds of the Amazon. As Blu tries to fit in, he goes beak-to-beak with the vengeful Nigel, and meets the most fearsome adversary of all: his father-in-law.
Stars including Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Bruno Mars, Kristin Chenoweth, Tracy Morgan, George Lopez and many more lend their voices in this fun, family film.
“Rio 2” is rated G and runs 1 hour, 41 minutes.
