The Marion Popcorn Festival’s Poppin’ Pooch Pageant, slated for this Saturday, July 26, 2014, has been postponed until sometime in the fall. Poppin’ Pooch Chairman Robb Koons indicated that although there had been several entries, the numbers “just weren’t there.”
Koons said that after talking with a number of people it was determined that after the vacation season would be better for many who were interested.
Currently celebrating its 34th year, the 2014 Marion Popcorn Festival will run Thursday, September 4, through Saturday, September 6.
