Cornerstone Alliance Church, 2010 Marion-Marysville Road (corner of State Route 4 and Marion-Cardington Road W.), will hold a School Supply Community Day, rain or shine, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014. The day will include inflatable slides, bounce house, dunk tank, and crafts.
There will also be a yard sale of clothes and shoes. All items are 25 cents and proceeds will go toward purchasing books for children in the community.
Donations of new and gently used children’s books for “Stuff The Bus” will also be accepted.
School supply pass out times are as follows: 9:30 to 10 a.m., preschool; 10 to noon, grades K-5; and noon to 2 p.m., grades 6-12. Children must be present to receive supplies. A list of supplies being given may be viewed online at www.marioncma.org. Limit one bag of supplies per child.
Lunch will be provided.
The public is invited and no reservations are required.
