Meijer’s Simply Give Program is in full swing and they are partnering with the Salvation Army in Marion to help to replenish the shelves of the pantry. The program encourages customers to purchase $10 Simply Give donation cards, which are then converted into Meijer food-only gift cards and then distributed to local food pantries.
The Salvation Army will benefit from donation cards purchased now through September 27, 2014.
“We encourage community members to help us feed the hungry in the Marion area by purchasing a donation card during their next shopping trip to Meijer’s,” said Ann Hesterlee of the Salvation Army. “Thanks so much for your continued support.”
