Brian A. Assent, MD, has joined OhioHealth Marion Area Physicians and is now accepting patients. Dr. Assent joins the women’s health practice of Drs. James Bazzoli, Bradley Campbell, Rebecca Crockett, Joseph Rizzo, and certified nurse midwife, Deborah Burns, to provide obstetrical and gynecological care to women in Marion and surrounding areas.
“My family and I are truly happy to join the Marion community,” says Dr. Assent. “I look forward to adding my knowledge and skills to the women’s health practice at OhioHealth Marion Area Physicians.”
Dr. Assent received his medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas, St. Kitts and Nevis, West Indies. His internship and residency were completed at Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio. His special interests include robotic gynecological surgery, laparoscopic surgery, preventive care, maternity care, pelvic pain, incontinence, family planning, and tubal ligations and ablations.
