Police: Shots Fired into Two Marion Apartments

Marion Police DepartmentThe Marion Police Department is investigating an incident where several shots were fired at two apartments on Sunday evening. At 10:46 p.m. on August 17, 2014, City dispatchers received the call reporting shots being fired into a residence at 967 Paula Drive.

Officers responded to the area and said they discovered several rounds had been fired into 967 and 969 Paula Drive. Both apartments were occupied at the time of the incident but no one was injured.

At this time detectives are actively following up on leads related to this crime.
