Marion Man Wanted on Rape and Kidnapping Charges

Wanted-HudsonUPDATE: Hudson has been arrested.
The Marion Police Department is currently seeking Larry Hudson on two active felony warrants issued Wednesday for Rape and Kidnapping, both felonies of the first degree. The warrants are the result on an incident that occurred on September 17, 2014 near the 160 block of North Vine Street in Marion.

Hudson is 57 years old of Marion. Officials say they have gotten information that Hudson is recently clean shaven, but that information was not able to be unverified.

“We need the public’s help to locate and arrest Mr. Hudson and are asking anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to call 911 or 387-2525 and let us know so we can take him into custody.” said Marion Police Chief Bill Collins.

The Marion Police Department urges the public not to try to capture Hudson themselves.

Chief Collins said the Marion Police Department would like to thank both the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this ongoing investigation.
