The Marion Palace Theatre’s May Pavilion will host a “rockin’ Halloween Bash” on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. The night will feature music by the Cincinnati based band Hearsay playing the best of Classic Rock.
Performing in the Cincinnati club scene since the mid 90s, the group has been tapped to open for various major acts. The band consists of Vance Best on guitar/ vocals, Marion native Bob Cooke on bass/vocals and Rick Canter on drums/vocals.
You can take part in the Halloween Costume Contest for the opportunity to win a prize or just kick back and enjoy the festivities and music.
Seating will be at tables on the main floor and mezzanine levels. A cash bar and concession items will be available for purchase the night of the show and patrons may opt to pre-order pizza through the Palace box office. Pizza orders must be placed by noon on October 31.
Tickets for a Halloween Bash with Hearsay are $15 and may be purchased at the Palace box office, 276 W. Center St. in downtown Marion, by phone at 740/383-2101 or online www.marionpalace.org. Purchase a group of 8 or more tickets in advance and the Palace will reserve a table for you. Tickets may also be purchased at the door one hour before the concert. Box office hours are 9:00am-5:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and closed Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Note that this is a new performance time for the Palace’s Friday night events. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Sponsored by Delmar Distributing.
Throughout the 2014-2015 season, the May Pavilion will act as a showcase for Central Ohio Artists including: Irish/Celtic group Lone Raven on Friday, March 27 and Blues/Rock band The Mitchell Project on Friday, May 15. Information for all shows and tickets is also online at www.marionpalace.org.
