U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan, Ohio 4th district, will be the featured speaker at the 2014 Marion County Century Club event on Thursday, November 6. Jordan, who represents Marion County, is on the November 4 ballot and is known for his conservative pro-family voting record, said Marion County Republican Chairman John Matthews.
“In Congress he continues the fight for fiscal responsibility as a member of the Budget Committee,” said Matthews. “He is recognized as helping lead the investigation into the Internal Revenue Service targeting of conservative organizations.”
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at All Occasions facility, 6989 Marion-Waldo Road in Waldo. A major fundraiser for the local GOP, the party will accept club membership and admission of $100 for an attendee and guest to the hors d’oeurves and dessert reception. Other donor levels, which includes admission to upcoming events and recognition, range from $250 to $1,500.
Reservations may be made by contacting John Matthews at [email protected].
