Jean and John Johnson won Downtown Marion and The Union Bank’s “Keep the Cheer Here” holiday shop local program. Designed to promote shopping locally, those using the program’s coupons could enter to win certificates to locally owned stores, restaurants and businesses.
As winners, the Johnsons received $300 worth of certificates from 15 different businesses.
Also garnering certificates from locally owned establishments were Leonard “Lenny” Brown, second place, and runners up Marsha Dutt and Kaylen Brown.
35 Marion businesses participated in the most recent promotion.
