The Marion County Historical Society is inviting everyone to join them for their Time Traveler’s Ball at Tri-River’s Career Center in Marion on May 9, 2015 from 7:00pm to 11:00pm for a “fun-filled evening visiting the past, present, alternate past and future.”
Attendees can look forward to dancing, demonstrations of historic crafts, watching a pirate sword fight, learning historic dances, listening to a live big band, exploring the wonderful world of vintage music boxes, enjoying a vintage fashion show, watching a silent movie, playing Civil War era games, jousting in the hall, viewing a robotics demonstration, being a part of the costume parade and indulging in a Victorian tea.
Dress from the past, present, alternate past and future is encouraged and steampunk enthusiasts are welcome.
The event is sponsored by the Marion County Historical Society, Special Occasion Catering of Upper Sandusky, Peacock Water, Dottie Bowes, Tupperware Consultant and Tri-River’s Career Center.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
