The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing warned that an individual or group which claims to be an Ohio licensed real estate company is soliciting consumers across the country, specifically timeshare owners, and promising to purchase their timeshare property.
The individual or group has assumed the name of Ohio licensed real estate company Property Pro Realty LLC. However, the culprits are not part of Property Pro Realty LLC. The group or individuals have created a website, propertyprorealtyllc.com/index.html, which is not actually ran by the legitimate Property Pro Realty.
“Ohioans need to be vigilant for scams such as these,” said Superintendent Anne Petit. “We would ask that anyone with questions or information regarding this scam call us.”
So far, the timeshares in question have been located in Mexico, but the timeshare owners have been located in a number of states across the country. Consumers need to be made aware this is not a legitimate solicitation and this group is not from the actual Ohio real estate company Property Pro Realty LLC.
