The Marion Palace Theatre will hold a Kids Theatre Audition Workshop for ages 6 to 17 years on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 2pm to 7:30pm. The workshop, led by Kristi Wink and a team of theatre veterans, will take place at the historic theatre located at 276 West Center Street, Downtown Marion, Ohio.
Participants will learn the do’s and don’ts of auditioning, choosing the right song, presenting a proper headshot and resume, how to perfect cold readings, the steps to take after the audition and more valuable tips and information. After a pizza dinner break, the workshop will conclude with a mock audition for all participants.
Those interested in attending are asked to contact the Marion Palace Theatre Box Office (740)383-2101 no later than July 31 to enroll. Workshop fee is $25 and includes pizza and supplies including a personal music notebook.
