Davidson Messer, Kyle Love and Tyler Holt
On Saturday, August 8, 2015 at approximately 3:30am, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office investigated a robbery and assault that took place in the area of Campbell Road at Marion-Green Camp Road.
Officials said the victim had non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The suspects were tracked to a residence in the 900 block of Bennett Street in Marion. Deputies and officers from the Marion Police Department surrounded the house and attempted to make contact with the suspects. After approximately two hours, two of the suspects surrendered and were taken into custody. At around 7:30am, the last suspect was taken into custody without incident after a search warrant was executed at the residence.
Arrested were 19 year old Davidson Messer, 962 Bennett Street, 18 year old Tyler Holt, 947 Bennett Street, and 21 year old Kyle Love, 450 S. Broadway Street, New Bloomington.
Davidson and Holt were arrested for Robbery, Felonious Assault and Kidnapping. Love was arrested for Complicity to Robbery and Failure to Report a Felony.
Once the investigation is completed, the case will be sent to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office for formal charges.
