The Marion County Park District will host a public feedback meeting on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 pm at the nature center at the Marion Tallgrass Trail.
While awaiting news of a Clean Ohio Trails Fund grant for construction in 2016, the park district intends to apply for another grant for construction in 2017, to continue the Marion Tallgrass Trail west.
The purpose of the meeting Saturday is to get feedback on the park district’s plans. That feedback is vital as it increases the chances of the grant requests being accepted.
The Tallgrass Trail nature center is located at 2093 Holland Road West, 1.7 miles west of the Marion city limits.
