On September 9, 2015 over 20 law enforcement officers from Marion Municipal Probation, Marion County Adult Probation, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI&I), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) joined MARMET detectives is serving three search warrants and eight arrest warrants in Marion County.
“This operation was a great success and proves that Marion will not tolerate drug traffickers in our community. I am proud of the hard work of the officers and deputies that put a stop to these criminals selling poison to our citizens” said Marion Police Chief Bill Collins.
“We will continue to pursue and jail drug traffickers in this County. This investigation is just more proof that the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the Marion Police Department and MARMET will exercise zero tolerance on those who sell drugs in this community” said Marion County Sheriff Tim Bailey.
At 1127 Bermuda Drive, detectives seized approximately 45 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 14.6 grams of heroin, approximately 4.9 grams of marijuana, 25 Suboxone Strips and $175 in cash.

Detectives also seized $8,365 in cash and an AK-47 Assault Rifle, a 9mm Taurus handgun and a 410 Taurus Handgun.
