Weekend film at the Palace Theatre includes Marion native

Before We GoThe Marion Palace Theatre will present the romantic-comedy film, “Before We Go,” starring Chris Evans (Captain America) and Alice Eve. The movie also features River Valley alumna and Harding High School graduate, Emma Fitzpatrick in a supporting role. In addition to starring in the movie, “Before We Go” marks the directorial debut by Evans.

The film follows the story of two strangers’ chance encounter in Manhattan. After Brooke (Eve) is robbed and misses her train out of the Grand Central Terminal, a street musician named Nick (Evans) offers to help her. They spend the night exploring the city together and becoming each other’s most trusted confidants. Unexpected adventure and Brooke’s determination to get home in time to destroy a letter she had left for her husband, forces them to confront their fears and take control of their lives.

This film is rated PG-13 for brief strong language and some suggestive content and runs 1 hour, 35 minutes. “Before We Go” will be shown Friday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, September 26 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the historic Marion Palace Theatre.

Concessions will be available and include candy bars for $1 each and 20 oz. Pepsi products, popcorn and boxed theatre candy for $2 each.

Admission prices are $4 for all ages and $2 for current PCAA members presenting a valid membership card.
