As part of it calls its ongoing commitment to investing in the Marion community, OhioHealth has completed $7 million in renovations and improvements to the Marion Medical Campus.
OhioHealth says that the more than 1,100 patients who visit the campus daily will experience renovations to the lobby, gift shop, ambulatory surgery unit, surgery waiting area, meditation room, physician offices and lab, as well as infrastructure improvements and new signage and wayfinding. A full-service café was also opened and serves breakfast and lunch daily for patients and associates.
“As many healthcare services continue to transition from inpatient to outpatient care, we must also continue to evolve,” said Chris Truax, chief operating officer, Marion General Hospital. “The renovations and improvements at Marion Medical Campus are just some of the ways we are working to improve the patient experience in the outpatient setting.”
This is the first phase of renovations planned for the Marion Medical Campus and part of nearly $20 million in capital that has been invested in the OhioHealth Marion facilities over the past five years.
The Marion area community is invited to experience the newly renovated and remodeled OhioHealth Marion Medical Campus on Thursday, November 5, 2015, 4 to 6 p.m.
Visitors can:
- tour the campus including the lobby, gift shop, café, ambulatory surgery unit, surgery waiting area, meditation room, physician offices, lab and more.
- meet physicians and staff.
- learn more about OhioHealth services in the Marion community.
- enjoy a complimentary snack from the new café, door prizes and giveaways.
The OhioHealth Marion Medical Campus is located at 1050 Delaware Avenue, Marion.
