The Marion Police Department has reported the arrest of a “person of interest” in connection with a weekend stabbing.
Following an anonymous tip from the public, officials said that Heather Risner was located in the 1000 block of North Main Street at just before 1:00am on Tuesday, October 21, 2015.
Risner was transported to the Multi-County Correctional Center on a probation violation warrant. Additionally, a felonious assault charge has been presented to the Marion County Prosecutor regarding this case.
Police officials extended their thanks to the citizens for their many calls and tips regarding this investigation.
