Marion park officials urge safety around Tallgrass Trail during deer-gun season

Deer gun season in Ohio is November 30 to December 6, 2015 and December 28 and 29, 2015. Muzzleloader season is January 9 to 12, 2015. The Marion County Park District reminds users of the Tallgrass Trail to wear bright colors during this time.

Hunting is not allowed on the 100 foot wide Tallgrass Trail corridor, but there are a number of hunting areas adjoining the trail, so trail users should use caution.

Hunters may not shoot from the trail, along the trail, or across the trail.
