One killed in shooting at Marion bar

The Marion Police Department says that a man was killed in a shooting early Monday morning at a Marion bar. A man wanted in connection to the shooting was arrested in Detroit.

On November 16, 2015, at approximately 1:31 a.m., officers responded to 810 Davids Street for a report of a shooting inside Dino’s Bar. Officers said they located James Burton III, age 26, from Cleveland, Ohio, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Burton was transported to Marion General Hospital where he died from his injuries.

At about 9:00am Monday morning, an arrest warrant was issued for Ronnie Farley Jr, age 32, from Marion, Ohio, in connection with this incident. Officers of the Marion Police Department were able to locate Farely in the Detroit, Michigan area where he was arrested on the warrant for Murder.

Officials said that additional information will be released as and if it becomes available as the investigations continues.
